Aziz Ibrahim, is a world class guitarist with a distinguished pedigree having played with many artists across a broad music spectrum including Asia, Akala, JBK, Stone Roses, Talvin Singh, Simply Red and Yellow Magic Orchestra. Aziz will be showcasing his Museum piece Desi-Guitar, a collaborative project with MixrUPt which explores the rich heritage and stories of South Asia, rediscovering some of its lost sounds and instruments. The performance showcases Aziz’s innovative live guitar work, Indian improvisation techniques and experimentation with cutting-edge guitar based digital technologies.
